Over the past few years, Huawei has focused a lot on the camera quality of its flagship devices, partnering with Leica to offer users with excellent photographic capabilities.
If the latest rumor is to be believed, Huawei is expected to introduce a triple-lens, Leica-co-developed 40MP camera with a 5x hybrid zoom for its upcoming P-series flagship, as well as a 24MP selfie camera. The rumor comes courtesy of Evan Blass, who had noticed a digital artist at one of Huawei's creative agencies had added the above pictured promotional material to their portfolio, which has since been removed from the original location.
The leak also suggests that the camera will come with a "Pro Night Mode" which will capture "100 percent more light" to help you get images in low-light conditions. Additionally, the "Pro AI Camera Assist" will help with "instant scene recognition and auto-framing" to provide users with the best quality images in various conditions. The leaked promotional material doesn't reveal complete details about the camera sensor's aperture and other technical details.
There's no official word from Huawei about the existence of the next P-series flagship so we suggest you take it as what it is - a rumor; things may turn out to be different when the alleged P11 is officially announced.
