Earlier today, Huawei introduced the P30 and P30 Pro, its newest flagship smartphones powered by its in-house Kirin 980 chipset. This time around, the firm wasn't talking up its AI features. With the P-series, it's all about the camera.
Both handsets include an all-new 40-megapixel SuperSpectrum sensor. Rather than RGB, it uses RYYB, replacing green with yellow and allowing in 40% more light. The results are remarkable, as you'll see from a sample in the video you're about to watch.
The P30 includes a 3x zoom lens, but the P30 Pro has a 5x zoom lens, for a total of 10x hybrid zoom. The camera system as a whole is quite remarkable.
The Pro model includes wireless charging, along with Huawei's 2.5W reverse wireless charging. Sadly, you'll still need a cable to charge the standard P30.
