We're just a few months away now from Huawei's P40 Pro launch, and some renders of the device were leaked by @OnLeaks and 91Mobiles. The bad news is that there really isn't a lot to see, aside from the rectangular shape of the device. There's no indication of what the screen will look like or if there will be a notch, or how many camera lenses there will be.
One thing that it does show is the rectangular camera module, something that's becoming increasingly common. It actually looks pretty similar to leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy S11, which is kind of interesting because Huawei's P-series often looks more similar to an iPhone.
What's going to be more interesting about the Huawei P40 series is whether or not it ships with Google apps. The big deal-breaker for the Mate 30 series was the lack of exactly that. Without a Google Play Store or native Google apps, customers had to find workarounds on a product that should have been seamless.
Of course, we'll find out more in a few months. The P40 series should launch in March.
