Huawei seems to be pretty busy preparing its upcoming flagship device, the Mate 10, which, according to Richard Yu, is going to be far superior to Apple's upcoming iPhone. Recently, a render surfaced online, showing off the nearly bezel-less design of the handset. The firm has now confirmed the launch of the device by teasing it in the invitations.
The invitation has the words "Meet the device worth waiting for", the Huawei logo and the time and place of the event written on it. Although it doesn't reveal much of the device launching in the event, it does have a 10 etched in the background, teasing the Mate 10.
According to the latest rumors, the handset will be powered by a Krin 970 chipset and will pack 6GB RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. It will feature a 6-inch EntireView bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160×1080 resolution. Moreover, the smartphone will, reportedly, have a dual Leica camera, dual front-facing cameras, 3D facial recognition and will run on Android Nougat.
To find out how much truth these rumors hold, we just have to wait until October 16, when the firm will officially hold the launch event in Munich, Germany.
