Last week was a rough week for Huawei. It was added to the U.S. Department of Commerce's 'Entity List', meaning that U.S. companies couldn't do business with the Chinese firm. Google suspended its Android license, and companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, and perhaps Microsoft followed suit.
But things might be looking up, as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro was added back to the Android Q beta program (spotted by Android Police), after being removed last week. At the time of this writing, it's still not listed on the Android Enterprise program page.
The news comes after earlier today when the Chinese company was allowed back in the SD Association, meaning that Huawei can continue to support SD cards in its products.
What's not clear, however, is why these changes are being made. There might be changes happening to make it a bit easier for Huawei, or perhaps Google added the Mate 20 Pro back to the list simply because this is more about supporting existing devices that have already installed the beta. Hopefully, there will be a resolution for all of this sooner rather than later.
