The time for Nintendo to unveil more details about its upcoming hybrid console, the Switch, has almost arrived. While the company gave us a trailer towards the end of last year, it has been fairly quiet on the subject, leaving many in heavy anticipation. Although we still have a full day before more details are revealed, it appears that accessory manufacturers aren't so tight-lipped, inadvertently offering up juicy tidbits about the console. Today, the folks at Hyperkin have announced some accessories for the Switch that confirm the type of port the console will use to charge and possibly transfer data.
While there was speculation about the charging port on the Switch, it looks as though USB Type-C has now been confirmed. Hyperkin sent out a press release this morning offering three accessories for the upcoming console - all of which offer a USB Type-C ports.
Nintendo will hold its 'Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017' in Japan tomorrow and will start its North American tour the following day to get the console into the hands of press and also the public. If you are curious to get some hands-on time with the unit, be sure to check out the tour dates to see whether it will be coming to your city.
