Microsoft announced earlier today that it will be hosting an all-new "Windows Wednesday" 30-minute live show beginning next year in 2022 on the 5th of January when the pilot episode will be aired.
On the show, Microsoft says that it will discuss mostly topics related to development in the Windows environment, but some other stuff may be covered as well. The company says:
Some topics we’ll be covering include Windows Terminal, Windows Subsystem for Linux, Windows Sounds, PowerToys, and Fonts, just to name a few.
The show will basically feature subject matter experts who will be demonstrating these various tools and discuss their usefulness. It will be hosted by Kayla Cinnamon, who is a Program Manager at Microsoft, and she will be accompanied by Scott Hanselman on some of the episodes.
In case you wanted Microsoft to cover any particular topic on the show, you are asked to contact Kayla Cinnamon on Twitter.
As stated earlier, the first show will be live on 5 January, Wednesday. The show will air on the Windows Developer YouTube channel and Microsoft's Learn TV page at 8:00 a.m. PST or 4:00 p.m. UTC. The consequent Windows Wednesday episodes will also air at this time.
