Earlier this year, NetherRealm Studios unveiled Red Hood, Starfire, and Mortal Kombat's Sub-Zero as DLC fighters that would be arriving for Injustice 2. With those characters now available for purchase, the developer has now announced that three more fighters will be entering the ring with the upcoming Fighter Pack 2 DLC.
The announcement trailer, seen above, seems to pick up right after Fighter Pack 1's trailer, with the previous trio being defeated. The new fighter pack has quite an odd combination of fighters. First up is Hellboy, Dark Horse Comics' super hero from hell itself. He is joined by Aquaman's arch enemy, Black Manta, in his unusual but recognizable garb. Finally, arriving as another crossover character from the Mortal Kombat series is Raiden, the lightning infused legendary fighter.
Fans will be able to see the first gameplay footage of Black Manta this Sunday, August 27. on the developer's official Twitch channel. Hopefully, we will receive some release date information on the stream as well.
Injustice 2 - Ultimate Edition owners will get the Fighter Pack 2 DLC for free, while regular edition owners will be able to purchase it separately when it goes on sale.
