The previously console exclusive fighting title Injustice 2 was announced last month to be coming to the PC platform after all. While an open beta was supposed to begin in October, it was delayed soon after the announcement without disclosing a new date. Now just a couple of weeks later, the promised open beta is finally here, with PC players getting the chance to duke it out against each other in multiplayer.
The game's highly acclaimed story mode is missing in this open beta, with players being restricted to its 1v1 multiplayer mode for testing network code and infrastructure. However, all of the game's stages and fighters are available for players to use, including DLC fighters up to Raiden.
The PC port is being developed by QLOC, which has a history of porting fighting titles to PC, including Mortal Kombat X and Street Fighter 4.
The Injustice 2 Online Beta is available via Steam and is slated to run until November 10. The download is 31.8GB. Meanwhile, the game will launch in full on November 14 for PC.
