The 2014 Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive has finally arrived on PC today. Following a long line of leaks this year, the new platform announcement officially arrived yesterday, and the port has landed just a day later on Steam and Windows 10.
Developed by Insomniac Games, the highly rated open world action-adventure title takes place in a post-apocalyptic future. A new energy drink in Sunset City has turned people into mutants and the player takes the role of a former employee of the company responsible who's trying to take control of the situation.
The gameplay is very fast-paced, where players can use a variety of parkour moves and acrobatics to zip around the city while fighting foes. In addition to the single-player campaign, there is a cooperative online multiplayer mode named Chaos Squad as well, which lets up to eight players team up for various objectives.
Below are the system requirements of the Steam version. The specifications listed on the Microsoft Store version are effectively identical to these except for needing a Windows 10 PC:

OS: Windows 8 or higher

Sadly, it appears Sunset Overdrive is not part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, with there being separate store pages for the Windows 10 and Xbox One versions. Moreover, while the Xbox One version is on the Xbox Game Pass, the PC version is missing from that service as well.
But, the PC version does come included with all of the original season pass content, bringing Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines and The Mystery of the Mooil Rig story expansions, and the Weapons Pack DLC.
Costing $19.99, Sunset Overdrive is now available for purchase on Steam as well as via the Microsoft Store for Windows 10. The PC physical edition will be available by next week, with THQ Nordic handling distribution.
