The Insomniac Games-developed Spider-Man title received its first gameplay footage at E3 this year, an entire year after its first unveiling. However, we didn't have to wait much longer to get more footage from the game, as Sony released a new trailer today (seen above) at its Paris Games Week presentation.
We finally get to see Peter Parker without his Spider-Man getup. It seems we will get to experience how Spidey balances his super-hero duties with his regular life firsthand in the game. Also, Miles Morales could be playing a more significant part in the storyline than what was hinted at in the previous trailer, as we see him alongside Peter Parker in one scene.
Just as in the previous trailer, the combat in both cutscenes and gameplay make the web-slinger's movements look incredibly smooth and agile as it should be in a Spider-Man game. The appearance of the popular Spider-Man villain, The Shocker, was also a welcome surprise. He looks like a powerful adversary.
Spider-Man is slated to release for the PlayStation 4 as an exclusive title in the first half of 2018.
