Instagram has finally made its way to the Windows 10 Store, after Microsoft announced Facebook would bring the application to PCs back in March. The app is now supported on Windows 10 Mobile, PC, and Surface. Unfortunately, Instagram is not yet available for Microsoft's Hololens or the Xbox One.
Instagram runs as expected on PCs, with minor tweaks to support desktop features such as sizeable windows. There are no new features in the app itself that set it apart from its mobile counterpart, although the company added support for Continuum on mobile devices back in July.
You can upload images directly to Instagram from your PC camera roll folder, as well as take photographs from within the app with support for front and back cameras. The camera functionality can be accessed by swiping right on the home screen. The app also supports notifications, direct messages, leaving comments and viewing photos.
You can download the app yourself directly from the Windows Store.
