Test the brand new features available on Windows* 2000 and Windows XP* in the latest Beta of Intel Application Accelerator v2.1!

The Beta version located on this page is only for customers that are interested in testing the latest Beta version of the Intel® Application Accelerator. This Beta version contains many new features that may or may not be incorporated into a future production release.

• Automatic Acoustic Management (AAM): dramatically reduces the noise level of your hard drive by enabling the AAM features built into the drive. Works on most newer ATA/100 compatible hard drives. For instructions on changing the AAM setting, go to the Changing Automatic Acoustic Management Settings page.
• Advanced Power Management (APM): adjust the power management settings of your hard drive. Settings for maximum performance or maximum battery life are available. Works on most newer ATA/100 compatible hard drives.
