Digital Act has announced that they will offer a new video phone peripheral for use with Nintendo's Game Boy Advance and GBA SP. The peripheral, which is called the "Campho Advance", features both camera and phone technology and will plug into the GBA cartridge slot. The device must also be connected to a phone line and a power source and will feature a camera resolution of 110,000 pixels, and a frame rate of five frames per second.
The device will be a bit hard to come by as Digital Act is only shipping an initial quantity of 10,000 units and they are only available through the company's website. The device will be made available to consumers in Japan on July 30, but no word of a North American release has been announced just yet.
