It seems the PlayStation platform exclusives that the Epic Games managed to nab for its store are continuing to slowly receive release dates for their PC versions. Today, Annapurna Interactive announced Journey will make its way to the new platform on June 6.
Developed by thatgamecompany, the award-winning adventure title was originally released for the PlayStation 3 in 2012, then was brought over to PlayStation 4 in 2015 with added enhancements. For those unfamiliar with the title, here's how the store page describes it:
Explore the ancient, mysterious world of Journey as you soar above ruins and glide across sands to discover its secrets. Play alone or in the company of a fellow traveler and explore its vast world together. Featuring stunning visuals and a Grammy-nominated musical score, Journey delivers a breathtaking experience like no other.
Journey's PC version will support resolutions going up to 4K, however, as of publishing this article there's still no word on the minimum and recommended requirements.
Sticking to the original plans, Journey will only be offered through the Epic Games Store on PC with pre-orders available now. While its price is supposed to be $14.99, the pre-order is currently available for just $4.99 on the store as a part of its ongoing Mega Sale.
Meanwhile, Quantic Dream also announced recently when can PC players experience its narrative adventure titles that were originally PlayStation exclusive. A demo of Heavy Rain is already available to try out through Epic's store ahead of the game's full release.
