Kayak makes mobile market position

US-based mobile games publisher Kayak Interactive has announced that it has acquired Swedish firm Synergenix Interactive, in a move which will see both their publishing and technology divisions being combined.

The terms of the deal see Synergenix becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Kayak, with Synergenix CEO Martin Forsling taking over as Kayak's European managing director and CEO of the Synergenix subsidiary.

As well as merging the publishing businesses of the two companies, which distribute content throughout North America, Asia and Europe across over forty carriers, the acquisition will also bring together their technology platforms.
