Action-adventure title Kena: Bridge of Spirits was announced at the PlayStation 5 reveal event back in June. The upcoming video game from Ember Lab follows the story of a young girl named Kena, a spirit guide on her way to uncovering a mysterious plot involving her village. It also features cute furry little creatures and has a mystic, Ghibli-style theme.
When it was first revealed a few months ago, Kena: Bridge of Spirits was assigned the same launch window as Sony's next-gen console. Today the game's developer announced that this has been pushed back to Q1 2021.

According to the game's maker, the decision to delay the release was made due to the ongoing pandemic. In order to slow down the spread of COVID-19, Ember Lab's team members have been working from home which inevitably slowed down progress.
Kena is not the first PS5 exclusive to be delayed recently. Last month, Arkane and Bethesda's timed PlayStation 5 exclusive Deathloop was also pushed back from its holiday 2020 launch to Q2 2021.
