Latest Intel Graphics driver optimizes Football Manager 2019 and more

Intel has released version 25.20.100.6373 of its graphics driver for Windows 10 users. The update is available for systems with the sixth, seventh, and eighth generations of Intel Core processors, as well as related Pentium and Celeron CPUs, plus mobile Xeon chipsets with Intel HD Graphics 510 or higher. Pentium and Celeron processors with Intel HD Graphics 500, 505 or UHD Graphics 600 and 605 are also supported, as is the Intel Xeon E3-1500M v5 family with Intel HD Graphics P530.

The driver brings launch support for football/soccer management title Football Manager 2019, and it also adds support for a few other titles including NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, SoulCalibur VI, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, and Mega Man 11 on devices with Intel UHD Graphics 620, as well as Warriors Orochi 4, LEGO DC Super-Villains, and My Hero One's Justice for those with Iris Pro Graphics or better. It also includes a new audio driver, version 10.26.00.01, after the weird downgrade that came with last month's release. Here are the new features with this release:

  • Game Performance Improvements and optimizations for Warhammer Vermintide 2 on 6th Generation Intel® Core processors or higher.

  • Display Quality Improvements in Multi Display Setups

  • PowerDVD* quality Improvements and playback corruption fixes

  • Vulkan* memory optimizations

  • Security Fixes

There are also a number of bug fixes with this update:

  • Intermittent crashes or hangs may occur in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker*, Mothergunship*

  • Minor Graphics anomalies may be observed in Assassins Creed Odyssey*, Boundless*, Rend*

  • Screen may flicker at low brightness levels in certain panels when DPST is enabled

  • Stereo 3D may not work since Windows* 10 April 2018 Update

  • Display Pattern and +/- buttons may not show up sometimes in Intel Graphics Control Panel when enabling Bezel Correction in Collage mode

Despite all of the fixes and improvements, the driver isn't without its problems, and here's the list of issues acknowledged by Intel:

  • Intermittent crashes or hangs may occur in FIFA 19* (DX12*), Assassins Creed Odyssey, and other games

  • Minor Graphics anomalies may be observed in NBA 2K19*, FIFA*19 (DX12*), and other games

  • Windows Advanced Display Settings may show incorrect bit-depth on some primary monitors which leads to inaccurate colors.

To download the driver, you can head to Intel's website and get it manually, or use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to get these updates automatically. To get more information about the update, including the full list of supported devices, you can read the full release notes here.
