Leaks always happen before big events, and with Google's event on Wednesday to reveal its upcoming product lineup, there are still more tidbits coming out. This time, it is images of the high-end Pixel 2 XL's design.
The images, from tech leaker Evan Blass via Twitter, we get a look at the black model of the XL with a case and without. We get a look at the trimmer bezels, the front camera, and the speakers, while also getting an early peek at what Google may be planning with its launcher for Android Oreo.
Gone are the large weather and pill widgets and returning is the Google search bar, but below the anchored icons at the bottom. That actually will keep the thumbs close to everything important when the keyboard is up and active. Also, a sleeker weather and calendar widget are anchored at the top. Since we only got the images, we don't know if those widgets can be modified or removed.
While Blass's leaks tend to be reliable, we are only two days removed from official images and details. So hang in there if you want to hear everything straight from Google.
