It was a little over a year ago when the Moto Z and Moto Z Force made their debut at Lenovo Tech World. The handsets featured an all-new design and also offered the ability to accommodate modular accessories called Moto Mods. At the time, it was unknown just how committed the firm would be, but by the end of 2016, it was clear, no less than 12 Moto Mods per year.
During Mobile World Congress 2017, Lenovo would offer a preview of the Moto Mods to come. But it would be a few months down the line, at the Moto Z2 Force event, that we would get our first real look at some of the Mods like the 360-degree camera and later the Moto Gamepad.
Now, courtesy of Evan Blass, we get to take a good look at two previously announced units. In the image, you can see to very different Moto Mods - the Amazon Alexa speaker and the Polaroid Insta-Share printer. It's also worth noting Blass's belief that the two Mods are not to scale and that it was likely that the Alexa speaker Mod could cover camera lenses on the rear of the smartphone.
While it isn't certain when these will arrive, they are quite different from the current batch and should be a welcome addition.
