Though HTC has recently launched its latest flagship, the One M9, there’s an even higher-end model that the company has yet to announce: the M9+. But thanks to some leaked renders we finally get to see what the device looks like.
The HTC One M9+ has been rumored for a long time, originally under the Hima Ultra codename. The device is expected to outclass most other handsets on the market with even better specs than the current M9 flagship. Included in that list is a 5.5-inch (or 5.2 depending on which source you believe) display, possibly with Quad HD resolution, a high-end MediaTek CPU and some important changes to the cameras.
Not only that, but as you can see in the images above, the M9+ (or Plus) will also feature a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button
We’ll have to wait and see when HTC decides to pull the trigger and announce this device on 8 April in Beijing, and whether its availability will span across the globe or be restricted to Asia as some reports claim.
