Promotional materials for Lenovo's upcoming IdeaPad 530S were leaked today, by WinFuture's Roland Quandt. The clamshell laptop will be packing AMD's second-generation Ryzen processors - ranging from a Ryzen 3 2200U to a Ryzen 7 2700U - and Radeon Vega graphics. The AMD models will sit alongside of Intel-based models that Lenovo will also make available.
All of that power comes in a slim form factor, at just 16.4mm thick and weighing in at 1.49kg. The aluminum unibody comes in Onyx Black, Liquid Blue, Copper, and Mineral Grey.
The IdeaPad 530S promises up to eight hours of battery life, which isn't terribly impressive for a PC with a 14-inch 1080p display. With Rapid Charge though, Lenovo promises that you'll be able to get two hours of usage with just a 15-minute charge.
The laptop will also be configurable with up to 16GB DDR4 memory, and up to a 512GB PCIe SSD. The speakers will be from Harman, and feature Dolby Audio, so sound quality should be pretty good. As far as ports go, the device will include a single USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, HDMI, a 4-in-1 card reader, and a 3.5mm audio input/output jack.
Pricing and availability for the IdeaPad 530S isn't included in the leaked materials, so we'll have to wait until Lenovo makes an announcement before we know any of that.
