Last week, Microsoft announced details of its annual 12 Days of Deals, and yesterday, it kicked off its festive shopping extravaganza with a day of discounts, offering up to $1,000 off dozens of Windows 10 PCs.
Each deal is only available for 24 hours, and with that first offer now out of the way, Microsoft's second day of deals has begun. Just one product is included in today's promotion - but if you're on the lookout for an ultra-affordable Windows 10 laptop, it might be worth a closer look.
The Lenovo Ideapad 110 is usually priced at $299, but for today only, Microsoft has slashed a third off its price, reducing it to $199. It's not exactly a performance powerhouse, but for the price, it certainly offers plenty of features. Its key specs include:
- 15.6-inch LED-backlit LCD with HD (1366x768px) resolution
- Intel Celeron N3060 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 1TB hard drive
- 2 x USB 2.0 ports
- Bluetooth 4.0
- Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Miracast-enabled)
- HDMI port
- 10/100 Ethernet port
- DVD-RW drive
- Integrated webcam
- Windows 10 Home
- 1.99kg (4.4lb)
If you can get to a Microsoft Store location, you can also take advantage of the company's in-store-only 'Doorbuster' deal of the day, in which it's promising its "best price ever on Fitbit Blaze fitness watches". You can find out about all the other offers coming in Microsoft's 12 Days of Deals here.
If none of those offers appeals, you might also be interested in some other deals currently available at the Microsoft Store. The company is offering up to $250 off its Surface Book, as well as selling the Lumia 640 XL for as little as $99.99.
