Lenovo has been quite busy announcing new Windows 8 PC products and today the company revealed its newest tablet, along with some new touchscreen models for its IdeaPad laptops.
Lenovo's press release reveals the new Miix tablet, a 10.1 inch device with a 1366x768 IPS display. It will house an, as yet unknown dual-core, Intel Atom processor, along with 64 GB of storage and Lenovo says it will provide approximately 10 hours of battery life. The device goes on sale sometime this summer for around $500. The tablet will come with an optional keyboard – it will cost extra if you want it though! Microsoft showed off an upcoming 8-inch tablet from Lenovo at its Computex press event earlier this month. The tablet, which Microsoft called the "Mix" at the time, has still not been officially announced from Lenovo.
The PC maker is also coming out with a number of new models in its IdeaPad laptop series this summer, all of which run on Windows 8 with touchscreen displays. The IdeaPad S210 Touch has an 11.6 inch display and will have a price of $429. The IdeaPad S400 Touch and S500 Touch laptops have a 14-inch and 15.6-inch display, respectively, and will be priced at $449 and $579. The IdeaPad U330 Touch and U430 Touch laptops will have a 13.3-inch and 14-inch display, respectively. They will have prices starting at $799 and $899.
