Over the course of the year, there has been a lot of talk about folding phones and also foldable displays. We are already in October and we have yet to see one emerge from a major manufacturer but Samsung's name has frequently been attached to the news, with many speculating that it will be the first to offer a device to retail. While that may be true, it looks like another major player, LG, will apparently reveal its foldable phone at next year's CES.
While there is no official word, Evan Blass, who is known to offer up some solid information about unannounced devices, has chimed in on Twitter, sharing that LG plans to reveal a foldable phone during its CES keynote. There isn't much information beyond this for now, but it could be quite interesting to see such a device on such a large stage.
CES is attended by hundreds of thousands of people each year and is a platform that many companies use to debut new products and also network. While it remains to be seen, we are luckily only a few months away from the start of CES 2019.
