As we are getting closer to the launch of the LG G7 ThinQ, we have seen a sudden increase in leaks giving out information about the company's unannounced flagship smartphone. In a newly leaked Geekbench listing, it seems that the device's processor and RAM configuration have now been revealed.
The high-end smartphone will be powered by the current flagship chipset from Qualcomm, which is the Snapdragon 845. Although this bit of information has leaked before, the listing on Geekbench gives us an idea about its performance as well. The device has managed to score 2,312 in single-core test and 8,979 in multi-core test, which is close to what the Galaxy S9+ running on Snapdragon 845 has scored as well.
LG seems to be continuing the use of 4GB RAM once again, but past leaks have suggested that the device would be available with 6GB of RAM. It remains to be seen what configuration the final variant of the device includes. Apart from the hardware information, the device was seen running Android 8.0 Oreo, which may or may not change by the time the device hits the market in the near future.
The G7 ThinQ is expected to feature some other interesting tech such as a 1,000-nit display with color adjustments. It will also feature an AI button, for triggering tailored suggestions and camera features, and the device will reportedly launch in a variety of colors. We will know more about the G7 ThinQ when it launches on May 2.
