Now that we are only a couple of weeks away from Mobile World Congress (MWC), LG has dropped an official teaser for the upcoming G5, that looks to leverage its reported AMOLED display for an "always on" feature.
Although LG has not posted any real details about the device so far, we have seen a couple leaks over the past month that indicate the G5 will deviate heavily from previous iterations in the G-series. According to sources, LG will use an AMOLED display for its upcoming G5, which looks to be corroborated by LG's Facebook post proclaiming the G5 will be "Always On". In the past LG has produced some excellent handsets when it comes to specifications, but often ends up falling short when it comes to presentation and materials. The G5 could be its first handset to capture the hearts of journalists and consumers alike.
LG will debut the G5 at its MWC event in February. The handset will be its first top-tier handset for 2016. LG is expected to debut a second handset, although details of when this will arrive is unclear.
