LG's gram laptops have one main claim to fame: they're super light. For example, the 14-inch model weighs in at just 2.2 pounds. And if that doesn't wow you, consider that the 17-inch clamshell weighs in at just 2.98 pounds, making it likely the only sub-three-pound 17-inch laptop on the planet.
This year's gram lineup was announced at CES, and now, LG announced that the clamshells are available, with the convertibles coming in March. Pricing was unveiled for the full lineup.
There are a few things that have changed this year. The obvious is that they all now come with Intel's 11th-generation 'Tiger Lake' processors, and that means that they come with the more powerful integrated graphics, called Iris Xe. They also come with Thunderbolt 4 ports, meaning that you can connect dual 4K monitors on a single port, or connect an external GPU.
Another thing that's new is that they all come with 16:10 displays this time around, something that's previously been exclusive to the gram 17. The taller screens are a trend that we've begun to see over the last few months and is going to continue moving forward.
