Swiss PC peripheral maker Logitech has announced the availability of a new wireless mouse and keyboard combo. The latest addition to the line-up is something which should be appealing to those wishing to have as few wires as possible. Being dubbed the MK850 Performance - this combo puts an emphasis on comfort and mobility - building on the firm's previous efforts with the K480 from 2014 and the K380 from 2015, but offering a full key layout and a contoured design
It's worth noting that the mouse included in the box is the same as the M720 Triathlon which was launched last year. It features an eight button design, all of which sans two can be remapped using the Logitech Options software. In the box, you get the wireless keyboard and mouse, a Unifying receiver, USB range extender cable, user documentation, and required batteries pre-installed in the mouse and keyboard respectively.
The Unifying feature, which was present on previous models as well, allows you to use both parts of this package on up to three separate devices. Switching between the three can be easily done via the white buttons included at the top of the Insert / Home / Page Up row of keys.
The MK850 Performance also sports Logitech's DuoLink, which allows the mouse buttons to perform different actions when pressed in conjunction with the Fn key.
