December 2014 saw the release of the first Microsoft-branded phone since the Nokia acquisition, the budget friendly Lumia 535. Those of you who have been waiting for a flagship from the company will probably be disappointed, as previous leaked photos of a possible Lumia 1020 successor might turn out to be linked to the reportedly canceled Lumia McLaren that was initially planned for this fall.
A blurry picture leaked in November from a factory in China may show evidence of another Microsoft-branded device, RM-1062 (possibly named Lumia 1330), which is expected to be revealed at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona.
Take this with a good amount of salt, but the leaked specs include a 5.7 inch display with a modest resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, one gigabyte of RAM, and 32 GB of storage. There are big upgrades to the cameras, a 14 megapixel Pureview back shooter, and a 5 megapixel front camera for selfie junkies.
The leaked image you see above is from a GFX Bench that seems to confirm these specs, but treat it with the skepticism it deserves.
