Mac Design magazine is set to kick of its second annual Mac Design Conference next week in Chicago, Ill. The conference will feature some of the most well known names in the graphics industry, who will be teaching attendees during the in-depth three day conference sessions.
According to Mac Design, the 2004 conference is shaping up to be a big hit for them and Mac users located in the mid-west. In order to attend the conference sessions, you must sign up and pay, but there is also a publicly available expo section of the show. With just under a week to go before opening day, Mac Design reports the expo has attracted 40 exhibitors including Apple, Adobe Systems, Eastman Kodak, Microsoft, Eastman Kodak, Xerox, CDW, Wacom, Pantone and Avid Technology.
"Mac tradeshows are always located on the East or West Coast," Dave Moser, chief operating officer KW Media Group, the parent company of Mac Design Magazine, told MacCentral. "The Mac Design conference offers users something different -- the conference is focused on the professional user that wants training to increase their revenue and spend three days with other people that are looking for the same thing."
