A bar owner in the US has been charged after shooting his laptop computer.
George Doughty is said to have fired four bullets into the Dell computer in the middle of his bar and restaurant in Lafayette, Colorado.
Doughty, 48, entered the bar room from his back office, announced he was going to shoot his computer and returned to his office, reports the Knox news website.
Police say 30 minutes later Doughty set his laptop on the floor, warned two customers at the bar to cover their ears and fired away. No one was injured. Police say he then hung the destroyed machine on the wall like a hunting trophy.
Doughty is accused of putting the customers in danger and was arrested on suspicion of menacing, reckless endangerment and prohibited use of weapons.
