Electronic Arts has announced that the Medal of Honor Pacific Assault Director's Edition has shipped to stores in North America today. Developed at EA Los Angeles, the Director's Edition includes a DVD version of the game, six video features, two interactive applications and an exclusive weapon. In addition, the Director's Edition contains WWII poster imagery, behind the scenes peeks at the title's creation, plus the Medal of Honor Media Player which contains 60+ conceptual paintings used in the design and a selection of the franchise's music.
Pacific Assault places gamers in the Pacific Theatre of Operations from 1941-1943, where they assume the role of Marine recruit Tommy Conlin during the attack on Pearl Harbor, through to the battle at Tarawa. The Director's Edition retails for $59.99, with the standard version costing $49.99.
