There have been plenty of announcements during this weekend's PlayStation Experience. But it looks like remakes are quite popular with Sony, as the firm has now announced another blast from the past, MediEvil.
The game first made its debut nearly 20 years ago on the original PlayStation. For those that can't remember or have never heard of it, it is an action-adventure hack and slash romp that has some wacky characters and features excellent music. The title will arrive on the PlayStation as a fully remastered version offering support for 4K. Like other remake titles that were announced during the event, MediEvil will require users to play on the PlayStation 4 Pro to take full advantage.
While there was a teaser trailer that made an appearance at the event, it really was just that, with it not showing off much in terms of actual gameplay footage. Although there isn't a firm date yet, it is slated to arrive sometime in 2018.
