Asus has unveiled the new all-in-one Asus Vivo AiO V241 desktop computer at its ‘The Edge of Beyond’ event in Taiwan. It has an anti-glare multi-touch NanoEdge display, in other words, it has a super-thin bezel which Asus says is “near-invisible”.
The Asus Vivo AiO V241 is a 23.8-inch Windows 10 all-in-one PC designed for everyday computing and home entertainment. It’s powered by a 7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce 930MX with 2GB of video memory. Its thin bezel means that the PC has “an incredible 88 percent screen-to-body ratio.”
Explaining more of the computer’s features in its statement, Asus wrote:
The display is enhanced with exclusive ASUS Splendid and ASUS Tru2Life Video technologies to deliver vibrant and vivid visuals with superb detail. Vivo AiO V241 has a powerful ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system that incorporates two advanced bass-reflex speakers for incredibly rich, full and immersive sound.
In terms of RAM, the device comes with 4GB, but it can be expanded up to 8GB; the type of RAM is DDR4 clocked at 2133MHz. As for storage, the AIO comes with 500GB, which can be expanded to 1TB. There are four USB 3.1 ports, one HDMI out, an RJ45 LAN, and a DC in; all these ports are located at the back of the computer. On the side, there’s one USB 2.0, one Kensington Lock, and one audio jack that supports mic and headphone combos.
The computer along with other devices announced at Asus’ latest event will be in the Asus showroom at the Nangang Exhibition Hall at Taipei World Trade Center from May 30 – June 3 where visitors can have a good with the machines.
