We are a little over a month away from the release of Monster Hunter: World. During this weekend's PlayStation Experience event, Capcom is letting players get in on the action with its limited beta demo of the game. While this in itself is great, the developer also released a new trailer for the game, showing off something a bit unusual.
In the latest trailer, Capcom's iconic character Mega Man makes a special appearance (around the 2:40 mark) and as you might expect, his 8-bit look clashes quite a bit with the more realistic looking settings found in Monster Hunter: World. In the trailer, we can see the Palico evolve into Mega Man and become a helpful companion, backed by some of the more popular tracks found in the Mega Man series.
As mentioned before, there is an open demo for PlayStation Plus subscribers, that starts today and will continue until 8:59 a.m. on December 12. Monster Hunter: World will arrive officially on January 26.
