Kim Dotcom (formerly Kim Schmitz) apparently lived an outrageous life as one of the the founders of the file sharing web site Megaupload. He rented a massive mansion in New Zealand, had tons of luxury cars and it seems like he wasn't shy about having a good time. That's very apparent in his quest to become the world's best online player in Activision's hit shooter Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
In a video posted on December 31 on Dotcom's YouTube page, we see him online battling other players and shooting them on screen in his quest to reach a whopping 150,000 kills. Using his nickname MEGARACER, Kim Dotcom reached the number one spot in terms of kills in Modern Warfare 3 along with number one overall on the leaderboards in the Free-For-All gameplay mode.
Dotcom is seen celebrating his 150,000 kill in the game with friends, complete with a big cake shaped like a "1". It's clear that event was a very happy time in his life. We imagine things are not looking as cheerful for him at the moment. Dotcom, along with three other Megaupload executives, were arrested on Thursday and charged with piracy by the US government. Dotcom and the three other team members are scheduled to appear in court on Monday in New Zealand.
