Back in October, Fossil announced its Gen 5E smartwatch as a smaller and more affordable version of its Gen 5 Smartwatch. Now, as you'd probably expect, that product is making its way across Fossil Group's other brands. In fact, that's how these other brands usually work. The specs are the same, but the style changes.
That's where the Michael Kors Access Gen 5E comes in. There are two variants, the MKGO and the Darci. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset, which is the company's last-gen wearable SoC, they both have 43mm cases, 1.19-inch 328ppi AMOLED screens, 4GB of storage, and 1GB of RAM.
The biggest difference between the two variants is that the lower-priced MKGO comes with a rubber two-piece strap, while the Darci comes with a stainless steel seven-link bracelet. There are also some differences in the design, as you can see from the images above.
They also come with the features that you'd expect from any Fossil smartwatch, such as Bluetooth calling from the watch, compatible with iOS or Android. It also has multi-day battery mode, letting users customize the various settings that affect power management.
The MKGO retails for $250 and comes in four different colors, while the Darci costs $350 and comes in three colors.
