Microsoft today announced that it's adding three more Xbox 360 games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list. They include Aliens vs Predator, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, and Sonic Unleashed.
Typically, new games are added to the list on Tuesdays. We haven't seen anything new in a couple of weeks though, so perhaps that's why we're seeing new additions on a Thursday.
Experience a war like never before between two of sci-fi's most iconic characters.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning ($19.99)
The minds of New York Times bestselling author R.A. Salvatore, Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion lead designer Ken Rolston have combined to create Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, a new role-playing game set in a world worth saving. Build the character you’ve always wanted and continuously evolve it to your style of play with the revolutionary Destiny system. Choose your path and battle through a master-crafted universe featuring some of the most intense, responsive, and customizable RPG combat ever.
Sonic transforms at night, for double the fun - slick and speedy, or wild and powerful!
Of course, if you're looking for new games on the cheap, then don't forget about Games with Gold, which offers four free games per month to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. It's nearly the end of the month, so you've got a couple of days left to claim Battlefield 1 (Xbox One) and Dante's Inferno (Xbox 360), and this month's offers also include Race the Sun (Xbox One), which you can claim until December 15.
Microsoft also recently announced next month's Games with Gold. Those include Q.U.B.E. 2 (Xbox One), Never Alone (Xbox One), Dragon Age 2 (Xbox 360), and Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction (Xbox).
