Microsoft adds three more games to Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Microsoft today added three more Xbox 360 games to the Backward Compatibility list. Today's additions include Killer Is Dead, Rage, and Shred Nebula.

The company typically adds to the list on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but we didn't get anything new earlier this week. Last Thursday was the last time that the Backward Compatibility list expanded, with three new titles.

Here are today's additions:

Killer Is Dead ($19.99)

The latest from the demented mind of celebrated game creator, SUDA51, serving as a spiritual successor to previous cult favorites No More Heroes and Killer 7. Stylish cel-shaded visuals set the mood in this gritty, bloody, ultra-violent world where biomechanical augmentations increase the power of criminals and “executioners” alike. Mondo Zappa, a newly recruited executioner, hunts criminals wielding a Japanese sword in his right hand, and powerful biomechanical engineering in his left.

Rage (Disc only)

After an asteroid impacts Earth, humanity attempts to rebuild. Sheltered in cryogenic lifeboats, survivors emerge years after impact to a devastated planet where some of mankind survived in struggling settlements or murderous bandit clans, while horrific mutants roam the dead cities. And a mysterious tyrannical government is on the hunt… for you.

Shred Nebula ($4.99)

Local Multiplayer 2, Xbox LIVE Multiplayer 2-8, HD (High Definition). Ready for more? Upgrade to the full version of Shred Nebula and unlock all three game modes, 40 total levels, achievements, leaderboards, and one immersive storyline to carry it all along. Like multiplayer? Team up with friends in co-op mode, or pilot one of eight unique ships – each with its own weapons, specials, and strengths – for the deep-space dogfight of your life! It’s just another day on the edge of the Shred.

If you're looking for new games on the cheap, you should also check out Games with Gold, assuming that you're an Xbox Live Gold member. The program offers up four free games (two Xbox 360 and two Xbox One) per month, as long as you claim them within the specified dates, and Microsoft recently announced November's titles.

As for this month's, you can still get your hands on Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings (Xbox One) and I Am Alive (Xbox 360) until the end of the month, and you can grab The Escapists (Xbox One) until November 15.
