Microsoft is adding two more games to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list today. While the list consists of games that were originally made for both the Xbox and the Xbox 360, both of today's additions are Xbox 360 games.
The company seems to be adding games to the list pretty regularly these days, with two being added last week, and two the week before that.
Both of today's additions are from the Silent Hill series of games.
Silent Hill: HD Collection ($10.49)
Introducing Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 with enhancements including true high-definition graphics! Experience the early era of Silent Hill as a true genre-defining experience with the added value of two games.
Silent Hill Homecoming ($19.99)
Welcome back to Silent Hill! Alex Shepherd returns to his hometown of Shepherd’s Glen to investigate the sudden disappearance of his brother. From Shepherd’s Glen to Silent Hill, Alex must face the darkest of horrors in order to find his brother. Struggling with his own grip on reality, Alex must unravel the mystery behind his nightmares, discover the truth behind his brother’s disappearance, and confront the evil that lurks in the seemingly empty streets of Silent Hill.
It's also worth noting that while Silent Hill: HD Collection is regularly $10.49, it's currently discounted for Xbox Live Gold members at the price of $7.49.
Also, if you're looking for new games on the cheap, don't forget to claim this month's Games with Gold. You've got until the end of the month to grab Assault Android Cactus (Xbox One) and Splinter Cell: Conviction (Xbox 360), and until August 15 to claim Death Squared (Xbox One).
