Last week, Microsoft's Band 2 was available for as little as $144.99 from Amazon in the United States - but that deal was exclusively offered to those with an Amazon Prime subscription.
Now, that requirement has been dropped, and the Band 2 is available at that price for all buyers, with or without Prime. However, as with last week's offer, only the small model is being sold at that price; the medium and large versions are both on sale for $174.99.
At $144.99, the health- and fitness-focused wearable is discounted by $105 compared with its full price of $249.99 - although it's rarely been sold at that price in recent months, due to Microsoft's near-constant stream of 'limited-time offers' on the device.
The Microsoft Store has been selling the Band 2 for $174.99 since May; when that deal began, it was the fourth 30% discount on the device in just two months.
It's a similar situation over in the UK, where Microsoft is offering the Band 2 with 25% off its full price, in another 'special offer' lasting over five months. The increasing availability of big discounts on the device has fuelled suspicions that the company is clearing stocks ahead of the unveiling of its successor.
