It was only last week that Microsoft debuted its latest computing product, the Surface Book 2. While the design on a whole remains similar to the first, the major difference this time around is the addition of a second model with a larger 15-inch display. In two weeks time, the products will be available for pre-order and it looks like the firm has released a new video that will educate those curious about the new Surface Book 2 models.
In the video, we get to see interviews with folks who worked on the product and get a feel for the process when it comes to working on creating a successor to the Surface Book. While there are many important details, the video offers a look at the newly re-engineered hinge, that will give users a more fluid experience. For example, the new hinge mechanism is now designed to reduce the bounce that occurs when a user taps the display. While this might not seem like a big deal, it's attention to details like this that will surprise touchscreen laptop users when they first experience the Surface Book 2.
The Microsoft Surface Book 2 will be available to pre-order starting on November 7. The firm has prepared a variety of different configurations for the 13-inch and 15-inch models.
