In February, Microsoft announced its new Xbox Game Pass, a $10-per-month subscription service that will offer unlimited access to over 100 titles when it launches this spring. Microsoft initially provided early access to Game Pass for those in the Xbox Insider Program Alpha Ring, before opening it up to the Beta Ring at the end of last month.
Now, Microsoft has expanded preview access to those in Xbox Insider Preview Ring 3. During this preview phase, gamers will only have access to 28 games, compared with the full catalog of titles that will be available when Xbox Game Pass officially launches.
The preview will end on April 28, but it's not yet clear when Microsoft will begin selling Xbox Game Pass subscriptions to its wider gaming community.
The last few days have been abuzz with excitement surrounding Microsoft's Project Scorpio console, key details of which were revealed earlier this week, followed yesterday by the first pictures and information about its dev kit. The new console will be officially unveiled at the E3 gaming expo in June.
