Microsoft fixes BetaPlace access

Well busy day for Microsoft, if its not all the leaking going on (call the plumbers!) It's BetaPlace throwing off valid testers. As we reported here last week Microsoft implemented .NET passports in combination with the Beta ID

This announcement affects all Microsoft BetaPlace users! We are transitioning to a mandatory .NET Passport Single Sign-in Service for BetaPlace beginning Tuesday, July 23, 2002. BetaPlace will be unavailable on Monday, July 22, 2002 at 4:00 PM Pacific Time until Tuesday, July 23, 2002 12:01 AM Pacific Time.
Well, things didn't go quite according to plan and the new system was screwed, that is until today ;-)

This from MS: BetaPlace encountered some issues while implementing a new Passport authentication process and as a result this update has been postponed. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Read more for the full email
