Microsoft is adding more Xbox Game Pass Quest types today

Today, Microsoft announced that it's launching the next phase of Xbox Game Pass Quests. There will now be more types of Quests, including over 80 of them that repeat daily, weekly, or monthly.

Those testing out the new Quests will be able to earn points by playing any Xbox Game Pass title. Also, Microsoft says that "new Quests can be achieved by completing multiple Quests", whatever that means. There are partial Quests, where you can earn points by completing only certain steps. And finally, you can use Quests that "are based on hero stats".

There are more improvements, relating to notifications. You'll get a notification on your console as soon as you've finished a Quest, letting you know to go and claim your points. You can submit your Quests for Microsoft Rewards points right from the dashboard, and you can also do it on your mobile device.

All of this is running until December 19. In order to participate in the preview, you need to either be an Xbox Game Pass for Console or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, and you need to be enrolled in an Xbox Insider ring. If you don't have Game Pass, you can still browse the Quests.
