Microsoft has announced an event for March 30, and as you'd probably expect at this point, it's going to be a virtual event. It will take place at 1 PM ET.
The company also wasn't very descriptive about what to expect from the event, only saying, "Learn about how to be more productive across work, life and family." It does seem like it will have a focus on Microsoft 365 though, possibly with an announcement of the long-rumored consumer subscription. In fact, recent reports show it as coming in the spring, so here we are.
One thing that we're probably not going to see is new Surface hardware. Previously, we were expecting to see both Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2 at a March event, but it seems that those are delayed, possibly until Panos Panay can get in front of a crowd to show them off.
It's not clear what Microsoft might include in a Microsoft 365 consumer subscription, other than Office 365 and some other perks. We'll find out on March 30 though.
