Microsoft is looking for "Windows PC Ambassadors" in Spain to test a "cutting-edge PC"

Microsoft has a community of millions of Windows Insiders around the world, but those in Spain are being offered a special opportunity in a new local contest.

The company is inviting Insiders there to apply to become 'Windows PC Ambassadors', and ten lucky applicants will then be given a "cutting-edge PC" to try for a month. "During that month," Microsoft Spain explained, "the function of the PC Ambassador will be to try and share their experience with the PC on social networks, YouTube, blogs, etc."

Microsoft didn't reveal exactly which PC it will be providing to these Ambassadors, but one possibility is that it will be the new Surface Studio. The 28-inch all-in-one PC launched in the United States last year, and the company recently confirmed that it will go on sale in France in July. Engaging in community and social efforts like this would be an obvious way to help promote the device ahead of its launch in European markets, although Microsoft hasn't officially stated that it plans to release the Surface Studio in Spain - so this remains pure guesswork for now.

Each of the ten winners will get two free Xbox Wireless Controllers, and "in addition, the best Windows PC Ambassador will receive a PC from the latest generation as a gift, which we will choose based on the quality of the reviews", Microsoft said.

Those wishing to apply to become a Windows PC Ambassador can do so here. Entries must be submitted before March 31, 2017.
