Microsoft's last-gen Surface Pro 3 went on sale in June 2014, but by early 2015, it was offering discounts on the device every few weeks. It looks like the company may already be falling into the same pattern with its latest Surface Pro 4, which it released last October - two weeks after ending a $100-off promotion on all models except the range-topping 1TB version, it's offering another deal on the device.
You can now get $100 off the two Surface Pro 4 models with Intel Core i5 processors at the Microsoft Store:
- Intel Core i5 / 128GB SSD / 4GB RAM | usually $999 | now $899
- Intel Core i5 / 256GB SSD / 8GB RAM | usually $1,299 | now $1,199
The deal means that the 128GB i5 model is now available for the same price as the entry-level Surface Pro 4, which features a less-capable Intel Core m3 processor - so if you were planning to buy that version, this promotion effectively gives you a free upgrade to the Core i5.
The $100 discount will continue until March 26, 2016 - but if you miss out on this latest deal, the chances are you won't have to wait long for another one to pop up.
