If you've been waiting to pick up one of Microsoft's Surface Laptops, now might be the time, as the company is offering some hefty discounts. You can get up to $300 off of the firm's first clamshell mobile PC.
The only one that's not on sale is the base model - which includes a Core m3 processor, 4GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD - that's still $799. However, the base Core i5 model with 8GB RAM and a 128GB SSD is $200 off of its normal price of $999, so it's now the same price as the Core m3 one.
CPU | RAM | Storage | Reg price | Discounted price | Discount |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Core m3 | 4GB | 128GB | $799 | $799 | - |
Core i5 | 8GB | 128GB | $999 | $799 | $200 |
Core i5 | 8GB | 256GB | $1,299 | $999 | $300 |
Core i7 | 8GB | 256GB | $1,599 | $1,299 | $300 |
Core i7 | 16GB | 512GB | $2,199 | $1,999 | $200 |
Core i7 | 16GB | 1TB | $2,699 | $2,399 | $300 |
It's worth noting that these discounts apply to all of the different colored models. Of course, the base model and the Core i7 model with a 1TB SSD is only available in Platinum.
You'll also want to keep in mind that these are all seventh-generation Intel Core processors. Just about all competing premium PCs are using eighth-gen chips now, which are quad-core and offer a significant boost in performance.
Microsoft didn't say on its Store listing when the sales will end, so you'll probably want to act fast. If you want to check it out, you can find it here.
